A little bit of our own history, because it explains why “Saffron” is in our name: we were originally based right here in Saffron Walden, trading as Saffron Shutters & Awnings. In 2015 the business moved to Haverhill — but so many customers already knew us as “Saffron” that we kept the name, and rebranded as Saffron Outdoor Living in December 2024 as the business grew into awnings, verandas, pergolas, plantation shutters and composite decking.

If you’ve come across other local businesses with “Saffron” in the name, or shops right in the Saffron Walden town centre, those are separate companies — genuinely good local options in their own right, but not us. We’re still the same specialist Saffron Walden has known for years, just working from a showroom a short drive away in Haverhill now.
