Veranda Little Braxted Witham – All-Season Outdoor Living

This recent veranda project in Little Braxted, Witham shows how a beautifully designed structure can transform a traditional home. The homeowner wanted an outdoor area that felt open during summer yet warm and sheltered through the cooler months. In addition, the space needed to complement the natural charm and character of the property.

Tailored Design and Thoughtful Customisation

After reviewing several ideas, the client chose the Weinor Terrazza Originale veranda with W17 sliding glass doors and a porcelain tiled floor. The slim, powder-coated frame was colour-matched to the home to achieve a seamless appearance.

The sliding glass doors offer clear, uninterrupted views of the garden. As a result, the space feels connected to the outdoors even when the doors are closed.

The chosen porcelain tiles were selected for their durability, low maintenance and contemporary finish. Together, these materials created a luxurious and practical foundation for the new outdoor room.

Precision Installation for a Lasting Finish

The installation took place in three structured stages to ensure accuracy and long-term performance.

Stage 1 – Roof Construction

We began by constructing the Terrazza Originale roof. This created a watertight seal between the veranda and the property.

Stage 2 – Subframe and Preparation

A robust subframe was then built to support the sliding glass doors and porcelain tiles. While waiting for the tiles to arrive, we fitted temporary wooden boards. This allowed our team to continue safely working inside the glassroom.

Stage 3 – Laying the Porcelain Tiles

Once delivered, the tiles were laid with careful attention to alignment and detail. As a result, the floor flows seamlessly between the interior and the veranda.

A Refined Year-Round Retreat

The finished structure has completely transformed the property. With the glass doors open, the space feels airy and connected to the garden. When closed, it becomes a cosy, light-filled room that is perfect for relaxing or entertaining.

The homeowner was delighted with the final result. The new veranda offers elegance, practicality and year-round flexibility — all tailored to their lifestyle and home.
