Weinor Plaza Viva at Grounds Café, Bury St Edmunds
We recently completed this Weinor Plaza Viva installation at Grounds Café in Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds. The project involved supplying and installing two coupled Plaza Viva systems to create a large, sheltered outdoor seating area.
By combining two Weinor Plaza Viva awnings, we created an impressive 10 metres of covered space with a 3.8 metre projection. As a result, the café gained a practical and visually seamless extension to its terrace. This new structure blends neatly with the exterior while significantly increasing usable outdoor capacity.
Double Weinor Plaza Viva System – Commercial Outdoor Solution
For this commercial installation, we coupled both Plaza Viva awnings together to form one continuous structure. This approach ensured consistent coverage across the full width of the terrace.
We finished the frame in WT029/71289 and paired it with fabric 3-597 to complement the café’s branding and surroundings. In addition, integrated LED lighting keeps the terrace welcoming during evening service.
The robust Plaza Viva system delivers excellent wind stability and smooth motorised operation. Therefore, it provides a reliable solution for cafés, restaurants and hospitality venues that want to maximise outdoor trading space throughout the year.
