Weinor Cassita LED Installation in Saffron Walden (CB10)

We recently supplied and installed a Weinor Cassita LED awning at a property in Saffron Walden, CB10.

The homeowner was looking for a clean, modern shading solution that would sit neatly against the exterior cladding while making the patio far more usable throughout the day and into the evening. The Cassita LED was an excellent fit for the space, offering a slim full cassette design with integrated lighting built into the front rail.

Installing onto External Cladding

Because the property is finished with external cladding, extra care was needed during installation.

To ensure a safe and secure fixing, we carefully cut precise openings into the cladding and mounted the brackets directly onto the structural wall behind. Fixing into the solid wall rather than the cladding itself is essential for long-term strength and safety.

Once the brackets were secured, we neatly sealed around each fixing point so the cladding remained weatherproof and visually tidy. With the preparation complete, we installed the cassette and connected the integrated LED lighting system.

The wind vibration sensor gives added peace of mind, automatically retracting the awning in strong winds to help protect the awning.
