Bespoke Dual Weinor Topas Installation in Kedington
This project in Kedington, near Haverhill, required a carefully planned awning solution to cover a wide outdoor area while maintaining a balanced, uncluttered appearance. The homeowner wanted reliable sun protection, improved evening usability, and a design that worked around existing guttering.
To achieve this, we supplied and installed two Weinor Topas awnings, each configured to suit its specific position.
Tailored Design with Integrated Lighting
The left-hand awning was fitted with a Weinor LED Design Light Bar, providing soft, built-in illumination beneath the awning. This allows the space to be used comfortably into the evening without the need for additional lighting.
The LED lighting integrates neatly into the awning profile, preserving the clean lines of the Topas while adding genuine functionality.
Practical Solutions for Existing Guttering
The right awning required a different mounting approach. Due to the position of the guttering, we installed offset gutter brackets. This allowed the awning to sit correctly without affecting drainage or projection.
Despite the different fixing method, both awnings align perfectly and operate independently, creating a seamless overall look.
Performance, Comfort, and Visual Balance
Each awning measures 5.4 metres wide with a 4-metre projection, delivering generous shade across the patio area. Electric operation ensures smooth, effortless control at the touch of a button.
The RAL 7035 frame colour offers a subtle, modern finish, while the 6-409 fabric complements the property without overpowering it. Together, the awnings provide shade by day and atmosphere by night.
