This double Plaza Viva awning installation in Leigh-on-Sea features two Weinor Plaza Viva OptiStretch systems designed to cover a large outdoor area. The project was completed at a residential property in SS9 and provides reliable shade, lighting, and heating for year-round use.
Project overview
The installation includes two separate Plaza Viva OptiStretch awnings, positioned side by side to maximise coverage across the patio.
The left awning measures 4700mm wide with a 5000mm projection, while the right awning spans 6000mm wide with the same 5000mm projection. This layout allows the space to be used flexibly, whether for dining, entertaining, or relaxing outdoors.
Design & specification
Both awnings were finished in RAL 7016 anthracite grey, creating a clean, modern appearance that complements the property.
The client selected fabric 3-876, which offers effective sun protection while maintaining a smart, understated look.
Integrated LED lighting provides soft evening illumination, extending the usability of the space after dark. In addition, Weinor Tempura heaters were installed to ensure comfort during cooler weather.
Installation details
Due to the size and projection of the awnings, careful planning was essential. The systems were securely installed to ensure long-term stability, smooth operation, and reliable performance.
