Shaded Spectator Area for a Local Tennis Club
This project at South Creake Tennis Club involved creating a comfortable shaded area for spectators who wanted to enjoy matches without sitting in direct sunlight. The club had explored several options before contacting us. However, they were unsure whether a practical solution existed for their space.
We reviewed their requirements and confirmed that their vision was achievable. As a result, we were able to propose a design that offered both comfort and a professional appearance.
Tailored Design to Match the Club’s Character
The club selected two Weinor Cassita awnings, known for their slim profile, reliability and strong performance. The chosen Wimbledon-inspired green fabric blended perfectly with the club’s traditional colours. Together, these elements created a cohesive and high-quality look.
To reach the correct height and projection, the awnings were mounted on custom post brackets. This approach allowed flexible placement without attaching anything to the building structure. In addition, the bespoke brackets ensured stability and excellent shade coverage across the spectator seating.
Precision Installation for Reliable Performance
Our installation team began by concreting the post brackets into position. This created a strong and secure base for the awnings. After the concrete had set, both Cassitas were mounted, levelled and adjusted for accurate alignment.
Furthermore, every part of the setup was fine-tuned to ensure symmetry, smooth operation and long-term performance. This attention to detail ensured a durable and visually balanced solution.
A Winning Combination of Comfort and Style
The completed installation transformed the club’s viewing area into a welcoming and shaded space. Spectators can now relax and enjoy matches comfortably, even during the brightest days.
