2 x Weinor Topas Installation in Ely (CB7)
We recently supplied and installed two Weinor Topas awnings at a property in Ely, CB7. The aim was simple: create practical shade across two patio areas while keeping the rear elevation balanced and uncluttered.
Instead of installing one oversized awning, the client chose two separate Topas models. As a result, the shading feels proportionate to the property and works perfectly across both sections of the garden.

A Coordinated Dual Awning Setup
By selecting the same metallic frame finish and WE8-381 Dune fabric for both systems, the installation looks seamless and well considered. The straight 20cm valances add a neat finishing detail while helping to reduce low-angle sun.
The larger 3.5m x 3m Weinor Topas provides substantial coverage across the main patio doors, while the 3m x 2m unit shades the adjacent window area. Together, they create a versatile outdoor space that can be used throughout warmer months.
Using a multi-channel handset allows the client to operate each awning independently or together, depending on the level of shade required. The addition of a vibration wind sensor offers extra peace of mind during unsettled weather.
